The Political Tax Credit, under Oregon law, says that an individual can donate up to $50 and a married couple can donate up to $100 and get that money back when they file their Oregon income taxes. In other words, if you owe $500 for taxes and you give us $100, you now only owe $400 to the State of Oregon! Or, to put it another way, if you're expecting a refund of $500, you'll now receive $600! That's right, rather than give the State of Oregon that $100 (couple) or $50 (single) and have it go into the State General Fund, you can donate it to us to fight for your rights and deduct it off of your Oregon taxes. You decide, give it to government or give it to us to help elect pro-gun candidates. Below is the Dept. of Revenue's legal language explaining the tax credit. In order to receive the tax credit for 2001 your contribution must be received and your check dated by Dec. 31, 2001. If you'd like to donate to the OGO Political Victory Fund you can donate online using the box below. Or, if you prefer, you can print out this form (it's in PDF format). |
